The influence of human society on relief in the north-western surroundings of Brno
In this paper the author treats of antropogenous geomorphological processes going on in the area of the rugged upland in the north-western surrounding of Brno, the third largest town in Czechoslovakia (375 000 inhabitants). The increasing urbanization considerably influences especially the weathering, slope failure and fluvial processes, such as different types of erosion and landslides. The author describes four landslides in this paper.
