Some facts on applied geography in the USSR
The article informs on the conception of applied geography in the USSR. The author analyses models of the research of application, the trends of development, the methods of analysis, synthesis and interpretation of the landscape. Further, he enumerates possibilities of the utilization of geographical knowledge in the practice, and finnaly, the theoretical basis of the development of applied geography.
