The term "high mountains"
This contribution deals with different opinions of what should be considered "high mountains". The author tries to assess the value of individual high-mountains phenomena for the differentiation of high-mountains landscape from others types. The existing misleading terminological shortage - as he suggests - could be eliminated by substituting the adjective "high mountains" by "cold" ("cold landscape", and if it is prevaling in some mountains, then "cold mountains").
