Cartography and Remote Sensing of the Earth. New Trends and Development
In the article are characterized some of new trends in Czech geography. The attention is paid mainly to cartography and remote sensing of the Earth. In cartography the author deals with the process of automation, processing of thematic maps and geographical information system. The remote sensing of the Earth is being considered here from the point-of-view of its utilization in regional problems.
