The 25th International Geographical Congress, Paris/Alpes 1984
The author gives a brief report of the most important items and results of the International Geographical Congress held in Paris in August 1984. He took part in the congress with a group of 25 Czech and Slovak geographers. The minutes of the 16th General Assembly of the I. G. U. are discussed. The next international congress will be held in Australia in 1988.
