Morphometrical characteristics of valley asymmetry in some North Moravian regions
The authors deals with morphometrical data on asymmetric valleys in the eastern part of the Nízký Jeseník - Highland (357 asymmetric segments - 8211 data), the northern part of the Moravian Gate (284 segments - 6532 data), and in the hilly land of Hlučín (968 asymmetric segments of the valleys - 27186 numerical data). Among others, the author shows the dependence between the index of asymmetry and the valley size. Correlation coefficients and those of regression lines have been established on Hewlett-Packard 9825A computer.
