Some Conclusions Resulting from Analysis of the Development of the Regional Structure of the ČSSR

The elaboration of documents for analysis of the Czechoslovak economy development for the period from 1960 till 1978 presents an integral part of the work on long-termed outlook of development of the ČSSR. In the frame of the first stage of work nine thematic areas have been included for investigation. The paper brings items of knowledge concerning analysis of one of these thematic areas in which some of the factors concerning the regional development were discussed. The analysis concerned the following subjects: selected elements of natural conditions, influence of demographic potential as well as forms of social organization of production and their influence in the last period (1960-1978) on regional structure of the distribution process of productive forces in the ČSSR.
