The influence of the relief of the Rosice-Oslavany area upon the occurrence and height of maximum temperatures
On the basis of the evaluation of thermograms from 13 topoclimatic stations located at some definite places the author discovered the dependence of the time of occurrence and the height of the average daily maximum temperatures in the spring, summer and autumn months upon the relief of the area under study south-west of Brno. The area abounds in numerous ridges standing out above the surrounding landscape. The average maximum temperature occurs most often in the lowest-situated parts.
