24th International Geographical Congress, Japan 1980
The author gives a brief account of the most important achievements and results of the congress proceedings held in Tokyo. He took part in the congress with a group of other Czechoslovak geographers. In the conclusion two international geographical congresses are announced to be held in 1984 in Paris, and in 1988 in Australia.
