This paper deals with relationship between air pollution and meteorological factors, especially wind speed and wind direction, vertical temperature profile and precipitations. It contains also short information about the methods of determining so called air pollution potential and about the short - term forecasts of atmospheric pollution. A few processes occuring in different parts of the world which are known to cause unfavorable temperature stratification are described. This paper is a continuation of the article Climatological Aspects of Air Pollution published in previous issue of the Journal of the Czechoslovak Geographical Society.
