Morphometrical data are important bases for geomorphological characteristic of a country; esp. valuable are these, which do not arrange schematically the country into smaller parts. The author worked out and expressed cartgraphically two morphometrical characteristics for the basin of the river Morávka, the right tributary of the river Ostravice in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts. (i. e. the map of relative hights of crest lines above talwegs and the map of angles of slopes). He starts metodically from morphometrical characteristics of V. Paschinger (1934), A. I. Spiridonov (1952) and M. Blenk (1963). By comparison of these morphometrical maps with geological and geomorphological ones there were found out 3 morphometrical creas in the Morávka river basin. They simultaneously express the geomorphological resistance of flysch rock complex of this part of the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts.
