Cartograms in Hexagonal Network
Some of the geographical characteristics are stated and represented on geometrically limited areas, mostly in those cases when the natural or conventional territorial units are not acceptable because of their different figures and areas. The conventional territorial units often undergo various changes and this is another reason for their incomparability. The author recommends the division of Czechoslovak territory into hexagons and presents the geographical coordinates of the apexes of uniform hexagonal network so that it may be drawn into whatever map. The comparability of cartograms of whatever contents may be ensured by this method.
