Are Municipalities in the Czech Republic too small?
The article focuses at problems of size differentiation of Czech municipalities with special regard to small municipalities. The question of "size" and regional variability of size differentiation is discussed. The difference between political and economic aspects in search for optimal size of municipalities is stressed. The concept of a two-tier organization of local administration is formulated in the conclusion.
