Regional Organization of Long-Term Migration Processes in the Czech Republic
The article deals with the assessment of relations between the living place and the place of birth. Relations are examined by districts. The investigation results into delimitation of migration regions at high hierarchical levels. Comparison with the results of complex socio-geographical regionalizalion is carried out, too. As regards territorial organization, migration processes and other regional processes show a great degree of similarity. Chief regional centres tend to be quite stable. The results obtained can well contribute to the topical issue of new administrative regions and indicate suitable solutions.
