Methods of Cartographical Representation of Groundwater Regionalization

The article discusses some problems related to the process of regionalization and its cartographical representation. It emphasizes the inevitable cooperation between authors and cartographers as a prerequisite for production of quality thematic maps, giving an example of the Map of Groundwater Regionalization in the Czech Republic. Results obtained through a detailed expert analysis and their cartographical representation are discussed.
