Geomorphological Evidence for Orogeny in the Himalayas and the Karakoram
The report on synthetic results of geomorphological research in the Himalayas and the Karakoram is presented. Relief building of these mountain ranges during the course of collision orogeny in the Late Cenozoic, as well as active geodynamic features of their landform patterns are described. The relative chronology of essential paleogeographical events in this region of High Asia is provided.
