A Contribution to the Study of Dependence of Rainfall on Circulatory Conditions in Northern Moravia
The paper discusses the problem of the relationship between the frequency of synoptic situations according to P. Hess and H. Brezowsky and the level of rainfall rate on the territory of northern Moravia in individual months, seasons of the year and the period under observation. It has shown that some situations affect the rainfall rate in a direct proportion (e. g. zonal circulation types), others in an inverted proportion (e. g. meridional circulation types).
