The Share of Geographers in the Development of the Ostrava Area
The author presents a survey of the work done by geographers for the development of the Ostrava industrial area. He mentiones the works analysing some of the socio-economical as well as natural phenomena in the Ostrava area, and geographical works serving the purpose of territorial planning, etc. Most of these works treat, before all, of the living environment in the Ostrava industrial agglomeration.
