Using citation analysis in geography
The article is based on a citation analysis of five Czechoslovak geographical journals. By means of studies pursued at different times it presents the main informative characteristics: the information half-time, the ideal retrospection and the index of Price. The article also compares the significance of various journals for the geographical research and the responses to published scientific studies.
