Longterm dilatations in vertical fissures between sandstone blocks are confronted with the geomorphological development of the rock relief in three localities of the Liběchovka valley between the villages Tupadly and Želízy, in the Polomené Hills. The measurement diagrams of rock dilatations are typical for seasonal volumetric changes in rock due to temperature variations and show amplitudes of 0.9 to 1.6 mm.
