Spatial autocorrelation as a concept and method of geographical analysis

This article acquaints the reader with principal idea of a little known concept of spatial autocorrelation. The relation to some concepts of spatial structure (entropy, diffusion) is discussed after the formal expression of the idea and basic measure of spatial autocorrelation. Finally, the application of the method in spatial analysis of the migration according to reasons is introduced.
