Jaromír Korčák

On the basis of census, of the summing of houses and flats in the ČSSR in 1980 and on the basis of other statistical official data the author compares the arear of larger towns (with 25 000 inhabitants and more) in 1930 and in 1980. The results are visible in tables 1-5. The accreages of cities are growing also by administrative annexing of small communities to the towns.
