The hundredth birth anniversary of Professor PhDr. B. Horák
Bohuslav Horák was the first and up to now the only University Professor of historical geography in Czechoslovakia. He was born on March 3, 1881 in Cheb, and died on December 26, 1960 in Prague. In this paper the author describes his life, his most important ideas, methods of work and his literary achievement.
