Radovan Pipek

The paper brings it survey of geomorphological conditions in the area under study (south-eastern Bohemia and south-western Moravia, Czechoslovak Socialist Republic). The autbor pays much attention to the considerable influence of neotectonic movements on the carving of the relief. Typicall periglacial phenomena are: cryopediments, cryoplanation terraces, frost cliffs and frost cracks, block fields and boulder streams. Weathering pits and pseudo-lapiès are of Holocene age.
