The role played by cartography in teaching geography in primary and secondary schools
The author explains some fundamental cartographic terms and stresses the necessity of a uniform pronunciation and application in Czechoslovak schools of all stages. He recommends the application of specially chosen cartographic aids and suggests new ways of work with maps.
