The Glaciation of the Himalayas
The author took part in several expeditions to the Himalayas where he carried out geomorphological mapping, studied recent tectonic movements and the evolution of glaciation. In this paper he treats of the genesis, morphology and oscillations of glaciation and permanent snow-fields in some parts of the Himalayas in the Quarternary.
