The Map as Means of Expressing of Human Influence on the Environment
The author deals with the classification of thematic maps presenting the quality of the environment according S. Lesczycki (Poland). That classification was used by the Geographical Institute of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences to the creation of maps expressing the influence of human activity on the environment in the region of Ostrava. One of them, a complete (synthetic) map in colour, is attached as an enclosure to that article.
