The Average and Standard Central Distances as Measures of Geographical Concentration
We distinguish two kinds of centres: theoretical (geometrical, which represent the territorial average) and geographical (real). This paper deals only with real centre (central square of Prague: Wenceslas' Square). The individual distances from various points to the centre (d) are measured as aerial distances (dv) and real distances (ds) which are measured along the thoroughfares.
