The Current State of Knowledge of Quaternary Glaciation in the Czech part of the Krkonoše (Giant) Mountains
An outline of the Krkonoše Mts. in the period preceding the onset of Quaternary Glaciation is presented. The conditions of development and the features of the former mountain glaciation in the Krkonoše Mts. are described. The landforms and the distribution of mountain glaciers in the Czech part of the Krkonoše Mts. are sketched.
